Multidisciplinary coordination to optimize processes **Location:** Pica, Tarapacá, Chile **Employment Type:** Regular full-time **Work Location:** On\-site About **Quebrada Blanca** Quebrada Blanca (QB) is located in the Tarapacá Region in northern Chile, at an altitude of 4\.400 meters, approximately 240 kilometers southeast of the city of Iquique and 1\.500 kilometers from Santiago. Teck holds an indirect 60% stake in the mine. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the **Systems Analyst** will be responsible for supporting and overseeing activities related to technological solutions that support operations at the mine, concentrator plant, TMF, pipeline, port, and generally across any location of QB. The objective is to address on-site technological needs, thereby contributing to safe, efficient, and sustainable operational continuity across all mining processes—from mine to port. The position will be based at the Quebrada Blanca site in the Tarapacá Region, at an elevation of 4\.400 meters above sea level, operating on a 7x7 day-and-night shift schedule. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Be a courageous safety leader, comply with and champion safety and environmental rules, regulations, critical controls, and procedures. * Identify risks in digital systems and promptly determine necessary preventive and/or corrective actions to ensure continuity and normal operation of digital services at QB. * Evaluate and analyze technological requirements of operational areas, identifying improvement opportunities and implementation needs for digital solutions. * Design, configure, and maintain digital systems and technology platforms to ensure optimal performance and availability. * Monitor digital system performance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to prevent operational disruptions. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate digital systems with operational technologies (OT) to optimize processes and data flows. * Generate technical reports on digital system performance and usage, providing key information for decision-making. * Ensure compliance with internal regulations and international standards in the implementation and maintenance of digital systems. **Requirements** -------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in mining within IT support, operations, communications, and/or digital systems areas. * Valid Class B driver’s license. * Experience coordinating work with third-party contractors across various departments. * Experience installing and connecting industrial technologies at mines and plants. * Knowledge of onboard systems in mining equipment, such as CAS, autonomous systems, radio communications, vital signs monitoring, etc. * Experience using system monitoring and diagnostic tools. * Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (LTE, Radwin, radio). * Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic installation. * General understanding of mining processes and their operational risks. * Basic knowledge of cybersecurity risk identification. **About Teck** At Teck, we value diversity.
