**Server and Virtualization Administration Specialist** In support of a major technology industry client, we are seeking a Server Administration Specialist to join an infrastructure team, with a focus on virtualized environments and the administration of critical platforms. **Key Responsibilities** * Administer and maintain server hardware and software platforms. * Execute server installation, configuration, migration, and upgrade processes. * Manage and monitor Linux, Unix (HP/IBM), and Windows operating systems. * Administer VMware vSphere virtualization environments. * Manage Exchange Server 2010 or later. * Administer backups, operational continuity, and storage. * Monitor server status, disk usage, and resource utilization. * Perform tasks related to information security, networking, and cybersecurity. * Manage security solutions such as McAfee, Fortinet, antivirus, and antispam. * Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with the team. **Candidate Requirements** * IT professional with a degree program of at least four years. * Minimum three years of experience in server administration. * Proven experience with Linux, Unix (HP/IBM), and Windows. * Experience with VMware vSphere. * Experience administering Exchange Server 2010 or later. * Certifications or courses in Windows and Unix (IBM). * VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification (mandatory). * ITIL certification (desirable).
