Network Engineer – Clinical Project At **PS Grupo Hunting**, we are looking for a **Network Engineer** to join a long-term project in the clinical sector. We seek a technically and professionally experienced candidate with expertise in managing network infrastructure supporting both continuous operations and technology project development, and with knowledge of connectivity and security solutions deployed in production environments. The position requires an autonomous, solution-oriented, service-focused individual capable of operating effectively in critical, dynamic, and highly operationally demanding environments. Job Objective To administer, maintain, implement, and optimize the organization’s data network, communications, and security infrastructure, ensuring its availability, stability, performance, protection, and scalability. The role will actively participate in technological infrastructure operations and network project execution, collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure continuity of clinical services, compliance with defined standards, and evolution of the technological architecture. Key Responsibilities * Administer network and security infrastructure in production environments, ensuring proper functionality, availability, and performance. * Configure, maintain, and repair network equipment, identifying faults and applying corrective and preventive actions. * Manage connectivity and internet services, monitoring links, configurations, capacity, and network performance. * Monitor communications infrastructure to promptly detect degradations, vulnerabilities, outages, or behaviors outside established parameters. * Analyze and resolve network and security incidents escalated by support teams. * Identify root causes and implement solutions to reduce downtime. * Administer and optimize currently deployed network and cybersecurity technologies in production. * Participate in projects related to implementation, renewal, expansion, migration, and improvement of network and communications infrastructure. * Support the design and evolution of network architectures, considering criteria such as availability, security, redundancy, scalability, and operational continuity. * Develop and maintain up-to-date network diagrams, operational procedures, configuration backups, technical documentation, and change logs. * Keep equipment, component, license, and network element inventories updated. * Coordinate activities with vendors, internal departments, and technical teams during implementations, maintenance, contingencies, and change windows. * Contribute to technological planning and identification of opportunities for improvement in network and security infrastructure. Job Requirements * Professional degree in Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Connectivity and Networks Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years’ experience administering network, communications, and security infrastructure in production environments. * Experience in both continuous network operations and technology projects including implementation, migration, upgrades, or improvements. * Ability to perform diagnostics, configuration, incident resolution, and documentation of network infrastructure. * Demonstrable knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, switching, routing, firewalls, segmentation, connectivity, and perimeter security. * Experience or knowledge of the following technologies: * Fortinet. * HPE Aruba. * Aruba Central. * Palo Alto. * Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. * Willingness to work on-site and travel between various clinical providers as required by the project. Desirable Qualifications * Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent. * Certifications in Fortinet, Aruba, Palo Alto, or Oracle Cloud solutions. * Experience in clinical, hospital, or other highly operationally critical environments. * Experience coordinating vendors and participating in maintenance windows or change control processes. * Knowledge of operational continuity, incident management, and information security best practices.
