Verify that instruments are calibrated and in good condition. Assist the reviewing mechanic in inspecting vehicle components (brakes, suspension, lights, tires, etc.). Collaborate in taking measurements and recording data per established procedures. Follow instructions from the reviewing mechanic to ensure inspections comply with current regulations. Apply safety protocols during tasks. Assist in preparing basic reports on vehicle condition. Maintain updated inspection records under supervision. Perform cleaning of parts and components when required. Support minor preventive maintenance tasks. Verify with the mechanic that obtained results are accurate before closing the inspection. Report any anomalies detected during the process. Ensure proper return and storage of tools after each inspection. Report damages or needs for replacement.
