Cybersecurity Engineer – InfraSec (South America) PS **HUNTING GROUP** is leading the search for a **Cybersecurity Engineer – Infrastructure (InfraSec)** to join a regional team based in Chile. This role is a **new position**, aimed at strengthening the security of the technological infrastructure and ensuring operational continuity in South America. The position serves as the technical reference for **infrastructure security, hardening, and complex IT projects**, working with hybrid environments and multidisciplinary teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Administer and secure **operating systems, databases, and middleware** (Windows, Linux, AD, IIS, Apache, MQ, among others). * Lead initiatives related to **hardening, vulnerability management, and incident response**. * Implement and operate security solutions such as **firewalls, SIEM, EDR, VPNs, antimalware, and PAM**. * Ensure compliance with **ISO 27001, PCI\-DSS, NIST, CIS Controls, and GDPR**. * Participate in audits, forensic analysis, log reviews, and definition of compensatory controls. * Design and execute **hybrid infrastructure projects** (SD\-WAN, PaaS, multi\-cloud). * Act as the technical reference for IT and business teams. **Technical Requirements** (predominantly mandatory) * **Minimum 5 years’ experience** in IT administration and cybersecurity. * Degree in **Computer Engineering or related field**. * Advanced knowledge of **protocols and services**: TCP/IP, DNS, SMB, NFS, SSH, RDP, Kerberos, TLS. * Experience in **endpoint security** (POS, laptops, mobile devices). * Proficiency with **hybrid and cloud infrastructure** (AWS, Oracle Cloud, or others). * Regional experience in South America: **desirable, not mandatory**. * No mandatory certifications required. **Key Competencies** * Technical leadership and collaborative teamwork. * Ability to solve complex problems. * Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Results-oriented mindset and focus on operational continuity. **Work Modality and Conditions** * **Hybrid modality** (2 days per week onsite). * Working hours: * Monday to Thursday: **08:30 to 18:00 hrs** * Friday: **08:30 to 14:00 hrs** * **Estimated start date:** Second half of February. **Benefits** * Supplementary health insurance and catastrophic coverage. * Discounts of **40% to 50%** on group brands. * Internal store at headquarters. * Bonuses and personal milestone leave days. * Year-end bonuses twice per year. **Application** Send your CV along with your **salary expectations** to: **seleccion@grupops.cl** **Subject:** Application – Cybersecurity INFRASEC Employment Type: Full-time
