The primary objective of this position is to protect the company's assets, prevent inventory shrinkage, safeguard stored merchandise, and ensure comprehensive control over the flow of goods, supplies, and personnel entering and exiting the logistics premises. **Responsibilities and Operational Functions** * **Access Control and Cargo Inspection:** Inspect incoming and outgoing trucks, delivery vehicles, carriers, and warehouse staff, verifying supporting documentation (dispatch guides, invoices, release orders, and security seals). * **Loss and Shrinkage Prevention:** Conduct random checks and visual inspections according to internal protocols to prevent unauthorized removal of products, tools, or supplies from the facility. * **Perimeter Patrols and Rounds:** Perform periodic physical inspections of loading docks, storage aisles, secondary warehouses, basements, and perimeter areas to detect structural failures, access vulnerabilities, or hazardous conditions. * **Monitoring of Support Systems:** Assist in monitoring the operation of fire alarms, motion sensors, emergency doors, and perimeter fencing within the storage area. * **Emergency Response and Notification:** Act as the first operational responder to risk situations, intrusions, fire incidents, or accidents occurring inside the warehouse, coordinating immediate actions with direct supervision and external emergency agencies. * **Logbook Documentation:** Meticulously document each shift in the incident logbooks, recording contractor entries and exits, off-hours deliveries, and incident reports. **Essential Requirements to Apply** * **Legal Certification:** Valid **OS\-10 certification issued by the Chilean Carabineros** (*mandatory and non-negotiable requirement*). * **Education Level:** Completed Secondary School Diploma. * **Demonstrable Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years of continuous experience in security roles at warehouses, distribution centers, logistics facilities, or industrial sites. * **Specific Competencies:** Visual acuity, strong ethical judgment, conflict resolution ability, punctuality, and strict adherence to occupational safety and hygiene standards. * **Location:** Immediate availability to work on-site in the commune of Providencia (Av.
