




Job Summary: Develop and manage a customer portfolio, identify commercial opportunities, and provide technical advisory to meet sales budget and ensure target margin. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on achieving sales targets and the target margin. **General Purpose of the Position:** Develop and manage assigned customer portfolios, identifying commercial opportunities and providing technical advisory on effective solutions, aiming to meet the sales budget, ensure the target margin, and contribute to KSB’s strategic positioning within its segment. Responsible for end-to-end technical-commercial relationship with the customer—from opportunity identification through award—ensuring the technical, economic, and contractual viability of each business. **Key Responsibilities** **Commercial Management and Budget Achievement** * Achieve defined sales, margin, and product mix targets. * Manage pipeline and forecast accurately and timely. * Identify new business and replacement opportunities. * Develop strategic accounts and expand share among existing customers. * Negotiate commercial terms within defined policies. * Maintain mapping of key contacts within each customer. * Conduct weekly technical visits via C4C. * Track and provide feedback to stakeholders on submitted proposals. * Issue purchase orders containing all information required by the internal sales team. * Internally track purchase orders (POs) / sales orders (SOs) to ensure adherence to delivery timelines committed to the customer. **Technical Solution Management** * Gather technical requirements on-site. * Collaborate with Internal Sales to define the appropriate technical solution. * Validate specifications, scope, and operating conditions. * Participate in technical presentations and proposal defenses. * Coordinate testing, technical visits, and post-sales support where applicable. * Monitor performance of the installed base. **Profitability and Risk Management** * Safeguard the target margin in every transaction. * Assess technical, financial, and contractual risks prior to closure. * Escalate significant deviations to management. * Ensure accurate information transfer to operations following award. **Coordination with Internal Sales** * Provide clear and complete technical information for quotation. * Jointly define commercial strategy with the internal team. * Prioritize proposals based on strategic impact. * Validate proposals prior to submission to the customer. **Market Intelligence** * Analyze competition, pricing, and market trends. * Report strategic opportunities to management. * Participate in annual commercial planning. **Safety, Health, and Road Safety** * Strictly comply with internal and customer safety protocols. * Use mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) during on-site visits and fieldwork. * Comply with safe driving and road safety policies. * Report hazardous conditions identified on-site. * Promote a preventive safety culture among customers and in the workplace. **Requirements:** **Education:** Engineering or Industrial Technician degree, preferably mechanical. **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in sales roles or as an Industrial Applications Engineer.
