Manage non-conformities and promote continuous improvement. **Job Description** We are seeking a Shift Supervisor responsible for leading and controlling the chemical and sampling laboratory operations during their shift, ensuring proper execution of activities, information traceability, and result quality, in compliance with technical, regulatory, and contractual service standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate and supervise laboratory and sampling activities, ensuring adherence to established work programs. * Lead the shift team (chemists, physicists, and samplers), assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and monitoring execution. * Ensure compliance with contractual service scope, including quality, delivery timelines, and operational standards. * Plan shift activities, ensuring availability of personnel, supplies, and required resources. * Supervise correct application of procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. * Monitor QA/QC processes in real time, ensuring result reliability. * Manage non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and propose continuous process improvements. * Ensure traceability and quality of generated information for service reporting. * Evaluate team technical performance using indicators (KPIs) and promote professional development. * Supervise equipment and facility condition and functionality, coordinating actions to ensure proper operation. **Requirements** * Professional degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related field. * Alternatively, a Technical Diploma with at least 8 years of experience in similar positions. * Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical laboratories. * Knowledge of FRX equipment, atomic absorption, and LECO. * Experience in chemical analysis, sample preparation, and metallurgical processes. * Knowledge of laboratory regulations, quality management, and mining safety. * Availability to work in the Coquimbo Region. * Health compatible with fieldwork. * Willingness to travel as required by the position.
