Participation in continuous improvement initiatives About the Role **Equator Surveyors Land and Agricultural Services** is seeking a **Production Supervisor** to join our team in **Parral, Maule Region**. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily production activities, ensuring compliance with operational targets, quality standards, safety procedures, and efficient utilization of available resources. You will work closely with **operations, maintenance, quality, logistics, procurement, and administration** departments to maintain productive continuity, resolve deviations, and support achievement of operational objectives. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate daily production activities. * Assign tasks and distribute workloads among team members. * Monitor achievement of production, quality, and productivity targets. * Verify that processes are executed in accordance with established procedures and standards. * Coordinate with maintenance to address equipment failures, stoppages, or service needs. * Track materials, supplies, and resources required for operations. * Review production records, operational controls, and related documentation. * Identify deviations, efficiency losses, or quality issues and support their resolution. * Prepare production, productivity, and team performance reports. * Maintain up-to-date operational records in company systems. * Coordinate with logistics and procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies. * Support inventory and material controls associated with the production process. * Supervise compliance with safety, housekeeping, and risk prevention regulations. * Participate in operational follow-up meetings and planning sessions. * Train and guide staff on procedures, standards, and best practices. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity, cycle times, and resource utilization. * Escalate relevant incidents, risks, or deviations promptly. * Perform other production and supervision-related duties as required by operational needs. Requirements * **3–5 years of experience** in production, operations, industrial processes, agricultural activities, or related fields. * Prior experience as a **Production Supervisor, Production Manager, Operations Supervisor, Shift Supervisor**, or similar role. * Experience coordinating work teams and operational activities. * Knowledge of production control, productivity, quality, and resource utilization. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and Microsoft Office. * Experience using **ERP systems, production systems, inventory platforms, or operational control tools** is highly valued. * Ability to organize activities and prioritize tasks according to production requirements. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to operational changes. * Strong goal-oriented mindset. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Ability to coordinate across multiple organizational departments. Desirable Qualifications * Technical or professional education in **Industrial Engineering, Construction Engineering, Production, Logistics, Administration, Agronomy, Agricultural Technician**, or a related field. * Experience in **agriculture, agro-industry, food production, processing, manufacturing, or operational services**. * Familiarity with production and productivity KPIs. * Experience in shift planning and personnel allocation. * Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies. * Experience preparing production reports and analyses. * Proficiency in ERP systems or operational control software. * Knowledge of quality and safety procedures. * Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
