If your purpose is to optimize production plant processes—covering both manufacturing and packaging—by conducting plant analysis, identifying root causes, and developing action plans to prevent recurrence, then this role is for you! You will work directly with operations to ensure process standardization, identify continuous improvement opportunities on the shop floor, and uncover potential savings in waste and sustainability—and implement innovations collaboratively with other plant departments. Join our Supply Chain team at the Panamericana Plant! **WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?** * Lead the Process Engineering team, driving continuous improvement in line operational efficiency and reduction of material waste. * Analyze major production losses, supporting root cause identification and action planning to prevent recurrence using Unilever’s continuous improvement tools. * Analyze and identify savings opportunities across the production supply chain. * Analyze quality incidents and maintenance failures, determining root causes and action plans to prevent recurrence. * Actively analyze and reduce plant waste. * Collaborate closely with operators to achieve sustainable efficiency improvements and continuous enhancements. * Ensure standardization of tasks across all plant processes. * Actively participate in implementing factory innovations. * Serve as the primary point of contact across all plant functions: Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Sustainability, Development, and Operations. **WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED** **Experience \& Qualifications** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering. * Prior experience in similar roles, ideally within food manufacturing plants—not mandatory. * Strong analytical capability and proficiency with root cause analysis tools.
