Job Summary: Responsible for transporting materials, assembling, welding, and finishing parts according to work orders, drawings, and specifications, complying with Production, Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards. Key Points: 1. Welding experience (SMAW and MIG) 2. Operation of oxy-fuel cutting equipment and assembly of metal structures 3. Product finishing (grinding, painting) Responsible for transporting materials (using machinery and lifting equipment), assembling, welding, and finishing parts (grinding, painting, lubrication, etc.) in accordance with work orders, manufacturing drawings, and product specifications, following Production, Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards.* Meet the established production schedule. * Prepare the work area depending on the process to be performed (Set Up). * Apply the work methodology according to corporate welding guidelines, based on the product to be manufactured. * Analyze received technical information and immediately report deviations to supervision (drawings, specifications, instructions). * Correctly follow technical requirements and product manufacturing specifications. * Properly prepare required tools before each task. * Meet the timeframes stipulated in the work order for each process. * Report machine stoppages and failures to the shift supervisor. * Perform the following tasks according to the production schedule: 01\. General Product Finishing (Grinding, Deburring, Painting, installation of packaging and product protection elements) 02\. Drawing Interpretation (basic) 03\. Basic SMAW Welding 04\. MIG Welding. 05\. Oxy-fuel Cutting Equipment Operation. 06\. Assembly of Metal Structures. 07\. Correction of Welding Imperfections. 08\. Perform HF in accordance with manufacturing specifications. 09\. Adjust machines and equipment according to instructions and work procedures (working conditions). 10\. Perform bar assembly operations according to drawings. 11\. Monitor and record critical welding process parameters. * Maintain cleanliness and order at the workstation. * Participate in 5S activities. * Verify availability and proper use of safety equipment in the work area. * Use lifting and load-handling machinery as appropriate. * Willingness to collaborate with all areas of the Santiago Production Unit. * Report work performed, abnormalities detected, and required equipment or materials. 1–2 years of work experience in similar positions, preferably within industries and/or sectors related to Sandvik.
