Job Summary:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy machinery to ensure its proper operation, availability, and compliance with safety standards, thereby minimizing operational downtime.

**Job Objective**
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy machinery to ensure its proper operation, operational availability, and compliance with safety regulations, aiming to minimize downtime and guarantee operational continuity.
**Main Functions and Responsibilities:**
\- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures in heavy machinery.
\- Perform preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule and hour meter of each unit.
\- Carry out corrective repairs on engine, transmission, brake, steering, and hydraulic systems.
\- Replace oil, filters, and wear components according to manufacturer guidelines.
\- Inspect and adjust basic electrical systems of the machinery.
\- Record performed interventions, used spare parts, and labor hours in work orders (WOs).
\- Timely request necessary spare parts and consumables for maintenance activities.
\- Conduct functional tests after each intervention, verifying operational parameters.
\- Comply with safety protocols, PPE usage, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
\- Collaborate in maintaining order and cleanliness in the area (5S).
\- Support preparation of technical reports and equipment availability reports.
\- Participate in technical training and updates regarding new machinery or technology.
**Job Requirements**
**Education:**
\- \*\*Technical or professional degree in Mechanics\*\* (Industrial Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Heavy Machinery Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Engineering, or related field). \*Degree is a mandatory requirement.\*
**Experience**
\- Preferred work experience of 2 to 3 years in heavy machinery maintenance.
\- Experience in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and transmissions.
**Technical Knowledge:**
\- Ability to read technical manuals and mechanical drawings.
\- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and measuring equipment (multimeter, pressure gauges, scanner).
\- Knowledge of industrial safety regulations.
\- Driver’s license Class B or higher is desirable.

Salary: $600\.000 \- $900\.000 per month
