About the Role **YUniversal Security and Facility Services** is seeking a **Naval Engineer** to support technical projects, maintenance, inspection, and coordination of maritime assets and associated systems. In this role, you will be responsible for participating in technical evaluations of vessels, reviewing structural and mechanical conditions, supporting maintenance plans, and coordinating work with suppliers, contractors, and operational teams. You will work closely with **operations, maintenance, security, engineering, and external suppliers**, ensuring that all activities comply with technical, safety, and operational continuity standards. Key Responsibilities * Conduct technical evaluations of vessels and naval systems. * Support structural, mechanical, and operational inspections. * Prepare technical reports and recommendations. * Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance planning. * Review technical specifications and documentation. * Coordinate work with shipyards, contractors, and suppliers. * Monitor progress of repairs and modifications. * Support cost control and work planning. * Review compliance with technical and safety standards. * Participate in testing and commissioning. * Maintain up-to-date technical records. * Identify risks and propose corrective actions. * Support procurement processes for spare parts and technical services. * Participate in audits and inspections as required. * Perform other duties related to naval engineering and maintenance. What We Are Looking For * Professional degree in **Naval Engineering, Naval Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Engineering**, or a related field. * **3–6 years of experience** in naval engineering, maritime maintenance, shipyards, inspection, or related projects. * Knowledge of naval structures, mechanical systems, and maritime equipment. * Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation. * Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical tools. * Ability to prepare reports and technical documentation. * Strong coordination and communication skills. * Strong focus on safety and quality. * Willingness to conduct on-site inspections when required. Desirable Qualifications * Experience in ports, shipyards, shipping companies, or maritime services. * Familiarity with applicable maritime regulations. * Experience with AutoCAD or other technical design software. * Knowledge of project management. * Experience maintaining engines, propulsion systems, or auxiliary equipment. * Technical English will be valued. * Experience coordinating technical suppliers.
