Heavy Machinery Operator

Description

Position Summary: Heavy machinery operator responsible for inspection, maintenance, reporting, earthmoving, and waste management. Key Highlights: 1. Machinery operation and preventive maintenance 2. Participation in ISO quality and safety processes * Operational instructions defined by the company related to this position. * Inspect major machinery systems (fluid levels, fuel, safety systems, and overall machinery condition) before, during, and after each shift. * Report any anomalies observed before, during, or after operations to maintenance personnel and direct supervisor. * Provide support to the maintenance team when required. * Enter all requested data into machinery reports each time a machine is operated. * Keep the interior of the machinery (cab) clean, and perform exterior cleaning whenever workload permits to prevent residue accumulation. * Dispose of, confine, and compact waste entering the worksite. * Perform earthmoving tasks (cutting, compaction, excavation, site grading) according to plans and slopes. * Maintain machinery with tires clean inside, and perform exterior cleaning on the wash pad whenever workload permits. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company, ensure its proper care, and notify immediate supervisor if replacement is required. * Participate in ISO processes: 9001, 14001, and 45001:2018. * And any other duties inherent to this position as assigned by the immediate supervisor
