Opportunity to work with geological-mining software. **Description** --------------- **Geologist II** The primary function is to support the execution of geological activities in the field and office, ensuring accurate collection, recording, and validation of data, thereby contributing to the generation of reliable information for operational decision-making and efficient maintenance with safety, quality, and a focus on safe production, thus ensuring operational continuity of the area. **Essential Functions** * Perform geological logging of RC, DDH, and blasthole drillings. \-Support sampling activities, verifying compliance with sampling procedures. \-Supervise assigned technicians. \-Conduct structural mapping in the pit and of drill holes. \-Support data quality control (basic QA/QC). \-Support supervision of diamond and RC drilling rigs. \-Enter and validate information in geological databases. \-Perform activities that promote and impact safety, environment, energy efficiency, gender equality, and operational excellence. \-Carry out tasks assigned within the work area. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Minimum Requirements:** \- Geologist with experience in mining processes. \- Basic knowledge of geological-mining software such as MineSight, LeapFrog, WellCad. \- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency. \- Desirable experience in blasthole mapping. \- Desirable experience in RC and DDH drill hole mapping. \- Knowledge of geological models for porphyry copper deposits. \- Class B driver's license with at least one year of validity. **Preferred Qualifications:** \- Commitment to occupational health and safety. \-Commitment to sustainability, environmental protection, and efficient energy use. \-Commitment to community engagement, gender equality, and work-life-family-personal balance. \-Willingness to embrace change and continuous learning. \-Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach. \-Results-driven orientation. \-Analytical and problem-solving skills.
