Job Summary: R&Q Engineering seeks an Engineering Leader to manage complex mining projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with standards, while coordinating teams and monitoring progress. Contractual management and multidisciplinary coordination **R\&Q Engineering**, a consulting firm specialized in comprehensive management of large-scale projects with 48 years of experience, is seeking an Engineering Leader for participation in the tender process for the **Mining** area in **Calama**, **Antofagasta Region**! Estimated duration of the tendered contract: **36** months. **What Are We Looking For?** **Mandatory Requirements:** * Degree holder: Civil Engineer / Construction Engineer or related degree, with a minimum duration of eight (8\) semesters. **Required Experience** * Minimum 15 years of professional experience. * At least 8–10 years leading engineering teams in highly complex mining or industrial projects. **Other Requirements** * Specialization in engineering design or management. * Project management certification. * Experience in detailed engineering for ongoing projects, constructability review, multidisciplinary coordination, and project–operations interface management. **Main Functions and Responsibilities:** * Ensure service execution under strict quality and safety standards, in accordance with PAC and risk plans approved by GPRO. * Represent the service before GPRO Project Managers, following guidelines set by the Contract Administrator. * Develop and consolidate work plans and schedules, in coordination with GPRO and the Contract Administrator. * Monitor physical and financial progress, proposing corrective actions in case of deviations. * Maintain the reporting system up to date, preparing periodic management reports. * Support contractual and administrative management: payment statements, quantity surveys, and supporting documentation. * Implement and monitor KPIs for schedule, cost, risk, quality, and safety. * Coordinate and deliver partial and final contract closure reports.
