Responsibilities:
**The Opportunity**
Lead the Environment, Health \& Safety (EHS) strategy for PepsiCo Chile’s Move \& Sell operations, covering all sites, branches, distribution centers, warehouses, and PepsiCo and contractor personnel under its scope, with the objective of preventing injuries and occupational illnesses, reducing operational risks, strengthening safety culture, and promoting self-care among all employees.
The scope of this position includes:
* MSC Lo Boza.
* 27 branches distributed across Chile.
* Finished Goods Warehouse at Cerrillos Plant.
* Transportation, distribution, storage, and sales operations associated with Move \& Sell.
Additionally, ensure compliance with applicable local and global legal, regulatory, corporate, and standards requirements related to Health, Occupational Safety, Environment, and Sustainability for all operations under responsibility.
**Your Impact**
* Define and implement the annual EHS strategy for PepsiCo Chile’s Move \& Sell operations, aligned with business objectives and PepsiCo’s regional and global priorities.
* Lead identification, assessment, and control of critical risks associated with logistics, transportation, storage, distribution, sales, and contractor operations.
* Ensure compliance with current legislation regarding safety, occupational health, and environment, guaranteeing validity of permits, licenses, and applicable regulatory obligations.
* Implement and maintain corporate EHS programs, ensuring adoption of global standards, tools, and best practices (e.g., Titans, GEHSMS, Test Drive).
* Develop a safety culture grounded in visible leadership, active participation, preventive observations, and reinforcement of safe behaviors—empowering middle management to champion safety.
* Lead incident, accident, near-miss, and environmental event management and investigation, ensuring root cause analysis and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Also ensure timely communication to the EHS and SC SOCO Operations Leaders. Upload evidence to myEHS platform and GEHSMS management system.
* Ensure comprehensive contractor management, verifying compliance with PepsiCo’s established safety, health, and environmental requirements.
* Lead audits, inspections, legal compliance assessments, and internal/external verification processes.
* Manage EHS performance indicators (KPIs), developing continuous improvement plans aimed at risk reduction and gap closure.
* Drive environmental sustainability initiatives related to waste management, resource consumption, environmental compliance, and reduction of operational impacts.
* Serve as technical expert and strategic advisor to Operations, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and local leadership teams.
* Lead emergency preparedness and response planning, ensuring readiness of facilities and teams under responsibility.
* Actively participate in leadership forums, performance reviews, and organizational transformation initiatives, promoting EHS integration into business decision-making.
* Manage departmental budget and lead improvement projects (Capex/Opex) related to safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability.
Qualifications:
**Who We’re Looking For**
* Industrial, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Risk Prevention, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS, Occupational Health, Industrial Safety, or Sustainability leadership roles.
* Proven experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing operations.
* Demonstrated experience leading risk prevention programs, legal compliance, incident investigations, and contractor management.
* Experience working in multinational companies and organizations with high safety standards (preferred).
* Specialization or postgraduate studies in Occupational Safety and Health, Environment, Risk Management, or related disciplines (preferred).
* Registration and accreditations required by Chilean legislation to perform occupational risk prevention advisory functions (preferred).
#### **Technical Knowledge**
* Strong knowledge of applicable Chilean legislation on Occupational Safety and Health, Environment, and contractor management.
* Familiarity with management systems based on ISO 45001 and ISO 14001\.
* Knowledge of risk management tools, incident investigation, audits, and legal compliance assessments.
* Proficiency in performance indicators (KPIs) and trend analysis for decision-making.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools (Power BI preferred).
#### **Languages**
* Intermediate-to-advanced English for interaction with regional and global teams
#### **Availability**
* Willingness to travel frequently within Chile.
* Valid driver’s license
