Sandvik Mining is seeking: **EHS Specialist \- Automation Contract** ============================================= **FOCUSED ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PASSION FOR WINNING?** **WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU** *" This job posting is governed by Law 21\.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market."* **GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:** Coordinate and implement Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS) programs, advising various departments on compliance with Sandvik’s standards, legal requirements, and customer regulations, with the objective of preventing risks, protecting people and the environment, and contributing to achieving the Zero Harm goal. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop and monitor EHS performance indicators (KPIs). * Implement and ensure compliance with EHS training and education programs. * Conduct site inspections and field visits to verify compliance with standards, procedures, and legal requirements. * Design, implement, and supervise Health, Safety, and Environment programs, processes, and documentation. * Conduct audits, assessments, and investigations to ensure regulatory compliance. * Lead incident and accident investigations, applying root cause analysis methodologies. * Manage and track timely closure of corrective and preventive actions. * Coordinate and control Integrated Management System activities and continuous improvement. * Maintain up-to-date critical EHS documentation at assigned sites. * Prepare statistics, reports, and annual training plans. * Manage relationships with mutual aid associations and administrative agencies. * Promote a preventive culture and position EHS as a key factor for business sustainability and competitiveness. **YOUR PROFILE:** * University degree in Occupational Risk Prevention Engineering. * Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar EHS roles within Mining and/or Machinery at the El Teniente Division. * SNS Certification (mandatory). * Intermediate English (desirable). **OTHER REQUIREMENTS:** * Availability to work rotating shifts according to business needs. * **Class B driver’s license, with minimum 3 years’ validity (mandatory).** * Willingness to work in various regions of the country based on operational requirements. * Residence in Rancagua (mandatory). **Work Location: Rancagua** **APPLICATION:** * **Sandvik Internal Candidates:** Access Intranet Vacancies Job ID: **R0095746** * **External Candidates:** www.sandvik.com “Careers”, enter code **R0095746** (create user account, **upload updated CV**, and **complete questionnaire**, if applicable). *Sandvik is an equal opportunity employer.
