We are an exploration company operating lodges and conservation reserves in remote areas of South America, with a presence across 9 destinations in 4 countries: Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Bolivia. Explore a world of possibilities—and join our team! **Position Objective:** Safely and comfortably transport our travelers during all explorations, check-in, and check-out, ensuring that journeys deliver excellent service and facilitate connection with the environment. **Main Responsibilities:** Prepare the van for scheduled and potential transfers, inspecting tires, fuel, cleanliness, lights, climate control system, seat belts, safety equipment, and documentation per protocol. Conduct van transfers in compliance with national road regulations, as well as Explora’s safety standards and protocols. Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete required checklists, mileage logs, and other records. Load and unload luggage/equipment needed for each exploration/service in coordination with the assigned guide. Facilitate traveler access to vehicles. Ensure traveler and colleague comfort and safety during transit and all interactions. Set up meals and snacks for explorations. Collaborate with guides to identify elements of interest to travelers. Train colleagues on routes and driver operations. Consistently safeguard the territories where Explora operates and their heritage. Respect designated roads and trails, as well as local wildlife and communities. Application Requirements: Completed secondary education. Minimum 1 year of experience in passenger transportation (mandatory). Valid A2 driver’s license (mandatory). Knowledge of traffic and road safety regulations. Willingness to reside in Puerto Natales.
