You will be part of high-impact initiatives **Job Description** ---------------------- Data Team Lead – Grupo Falabella At Grupo Falabella, we are looking for a Data Team Lead who wants to lead the evolution of our data platform and amplify business impact through scalable, high-quality solutions. What Will Be Your Challenge? You will lead a team of Data Engineers, driving the design and implementation of robust data solutions on the corporate architecture, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability in strategic business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Data Engineering team, ensuring goal achievement and professional growth. Define and guide the technical design of data solutions, actively participating in their implementation. Design and implement key components of the platform under the corporate lakehouse model. Manage technical debt and lead continuous improvement initiatives for pipelines and models. Coordinate with Architecture, Data Governance, Security, and Infrastructure teams, as well as partners such as Google Cloud. Act as the team’s technical reference and mentor, promoting best practices and continuous learning. Prioritize the backlog and manage expectations of internal stakeholders. Ensure operational continuity and SLAs for critical data solutions. What We Are Looking For Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Experience leading technical data teams with a hands-on focus. Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, dbt, advanced SQL, and Python. Experience in lakehouse architectures and/or data governance (preferred). Google Cloud (Data Engineer) and/or dbt certifications (preferred). Why Join Grupo Falabella?
