**Job Objective:**
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize industrial automation and control systems, ensuring efficiency, safety, reliability, and continuity of production processes.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Design and develop automation and control systems for industrial processes.
* Program, configure, and maintain **PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems**.
* Integrate sensors, actuators, frequency inverters, and other control devices.
* Conduct commissioning, testing, and validation of automated systems.
* Diagnose and resolve faults in control systems and automated equipment.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems.
* Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
* Develop solutions to increase productivity, reduce costs, and minimize downtime.
* Prepare and update electrical diagrams, layouts, technical documentation, and operation manuals.
* Coordinate automation projects with engineering, maintenance, production, and IT teams.
* Supervise vendors and contractors during equipment installation and commissioning.
* Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations and technical standards.
* Conduct functional tests and verify performance of implemented systems.
* Monitor performance indicators and propose continuous improvement actions.
* Research and evaluate new automation technologies, robotics, and Industry 4\.0\.
* Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
**Requirements:**
* Professional degree in Automation Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
* Experience in industrial process automation and control.
* Solid knowledge of **PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors, actuators, and control systems**.
* Experience with platforms such as **Siemens, Allen\-Bradley, Schneider Electric**, or equivalent.
* Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.
* Ability to interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
* Diagnostic, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of industrial safety and applicable standards.
* Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects and under pressure.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in Spanish and technical English, preferably.
Salary: $3\.900\.000 per month
