**Job Description Summary:**
You will be responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, performing large-scale repairs, coordinating work execution, and working either in the workshop or in the field as required, while also supporting the supervisor and making mid-level decisions to oversee component installation and removal, and/or substituting for the Supervisor in specific functions or tasks, or performing field duties.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Diagnose, evaluate, and generate work orders using Caterpillar’s technical and administrative software.
* Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts manuals, and mechanical and maintenance forms for equipment maintenance/repair.
* Use and operate electronic tools.
* Conduct tests, adjustments, and fault diagnostics both in the field and in the workshop.
* Prepare Service Reports.
* Perform repairs across the general product line and make repair recommendations.
* Operate and inspect machines after repair.
* Demonstrate proficiency in fault analysis.
* Carry out activities in accordance with quality management instructions, and actively participate in area-specific actions to comply with the Risk Prevention and Sustainable Management Policy.
**Requirements:*** Graduate technician from an Institute or University, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of mining-sector equipment.
* Successful prior performance in at least the C Technician role.
* Willingness to work a 5x2 rotating shift schedule at our branch.
* Medical fitness compatible with high-altitude geographic locations.

* Performance evaluation score of “Meets Expectations” or higher (minimum score: 3).
* Minimum eligibility level for application: T1\.
