Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future. **Department Overview** ----------------------- Chile Services Team **Job Description** ------------------- **Primary Functions and Responsibilities:** * **Operational Continuity Assurance:** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on radiocommunication sites at mining operations to ensure the customer’s operations suffer no critical interruptions. * **Network Infrastructure Management:** Administer and diagnose servers, point-to-point links, and data networks to maintain the integrity of the tele-radiocommunication network. * **Autonomous Technical Resolution:** Identify and resolve recurring incidents in RF infrastructure, implementing definitive improvements that optimize Motorola system performance. * **System Control and Updates:** Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and network diagrams, ensuring precise traceability of equipment comprising the critical infrastructure. * **Collaboration and Strategic Reporting:** Coordinate actions with the Supervisor and Specialist Engineer to align field tasks with contractual quality and safety standards. **Basic Requirements** ---------------------- * **Residence in Calama** * **24x7 Operational Availability** : Commitment to work under a 5x2 schedule, but with availability to cover rotating shifts ensuring continuous service support. * **Mining Sector Experience** : Minimum 2 years’ experience working at mining operations, with ability to adapt to high-demand environments and strict safety protocols. * **Networking and Server Proficiency** : Solid knowledge of network configuration and administration, as well as maintenance of point-to-point links. * **Advanced Technical Education:** Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Industrial Engineering, supporting execution of field engineering tasks. **Travel Requirements** ----------------------- Over 50% **Relocation Provided** ----------------------- None **Position Type** ----------------- Experienced **Referral Payment Plan** ------------------------- Yes ***EEO Statement*** Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
