Conducting periodic diagnostics to ensure operational continuity Network and Telecommunications Technician **Location:** Iquique, Tarapacá Region, Chile **Company:** Comunitic SpA Job Description The **Network and Telecommunications Technician** will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructures and communication systems, ensuring connectivity and the correct operation of the company’s and its customers’ technological services. Responsibilities * **Network installation**: Implement structured cabling, routers, switches, and communication equipment. * **System configuration**: Program and optimize network and telecommunications devices. * **Preventive maintenance**: Conduct periodic diagnostics to ensure operational continuity. * **Technical support**: Address incidents and provide assistance to internal and external users. * **Cybersecurity**: Implement protective measures for networks and communication systems. * **Technical documentation**: Prepare installation and maintenance reports and manuals. Candidate Profile * Technical degree in Telecommunications, Networks, Computer Science, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience in network installation and maintenance. * Knowledge of network protocols, structured cabling, and cybersecurity. * Proficiency with diagnostic tools and network management software. * Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and problem-solving abilities.
