Development of transportation and GPS solutions **Full Stack Developer with Backend Focus** At PS Grupo Hunting, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a Backend focus to join the technology team of a leading company specializing in technological solutions for transportation, GPS, and high-volume information processing. We seek a candidate with solid backend development experience—especially in Java and Spring Boot—with the ability to work on existing systems, develop new features, resolve technical incidents, and participate in the technological evolution of current platforms. **Job Objective** Join the development team to primarily support backend development on Java and microservices architecture, while also participating in frontend initiatives, system integration, and continuous improvement of internal and client-facing applications. The main focus will be on development, maintenance, and optimization of applications targeting transportation solutions, GPS, and large-scale information processing. Main Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot. Design, build, integrate, and consume REST APIs. Work with relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL. Write SQL queries, perform data modeling, and conduct basic query optimization. Support frontend development when required, preferably with Angular. Maintain, adjust, and evolve existing components developed in PHP. Analyze technical requirements and translate them into implementable solutions. Review logs, diagnose errors, and resolve technical incidents. Participate in testing, code reviews, deployments, and technical documentation. Collaborate with technical and functional teams to continuously improve platforms. **Mandatory Requirements** Degree in Computer Engineering, Computing Engineering, Systems Analyst/Programmer, Programming Technician, or related field. At least 3 years of software development experience. Proven backend development experience with Java. Ideally, approximately 5 years of hands-on Java development experience. Practical experience with Spring Boot. Proficiency with relational databases. Experience working with PostgreSQL. Experience developing and consuming REST APIs. Proficiency in SQL queries, data modeling, and basic query optimization. Version control experience, preferably Git. Ability to analyze errors, review logs, and resolve technical incidents. **Desirable Requirements** Frontend development experience with Angular. Knowledge of PHP, especially for maintaining or evolving existing systems. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments. Experience integrating with external services. Familiarity with agile methodologies and ticketing tools. 2–3 years of experience in frontend or complementary technologies. **Expected Profile** We seek an autonomous, organized, analytical, and quality-oriented individual, capable of excelling both in new development projects and in maintaining existing systems. Strong communication skills—both with technical and non-technical teams—will be highly valued, along with adherence to development best practices, code maintainability, and effective problem-solving capabilities. **Conditions** Offered net salary: between $1.900.000 and $2.100.000 CLP per month.
