We are looking for a professional with the appropriate experience for the position of **Electromechanical Technician** at our MMO in Nacimiento. **Main responsibilities for this position:** * Execute service requests, aiming to maintain the operational functionality of electromechanical equipment, following guidance and predefined procedures provided by the immediate supervisor, using tools and devices to identify and/or repair identified defects or faults. * Interpret mechanical drawings and power electrical circuits that define the operation and/or functioning of a system or equipment. * Operate electromechanical handling and adjustment tools. * Operate dimensional measurement equipment for precise adjustments. * Operate electrical measurement equipment for diagnosis, control, and adjustments. * Perform alignment on equipment. * Perform equipment lubrication through oil replenishment or oil changes. * Conduct inspection routes on electromechanical equipment. * Dismantle and assemble machines and electromechanical components. * Perform maintenance (diagnosis and repair) on electromechanical equipment. * Diagnose faults and carry out repairs. * Conduct parts and spare parts studies. * Support the maintenance planning and scheduling department with information. * Assist in identifying root causes and support the development of solutions. * Maintain work tools (cleaning, lubrication) to ensure service quality. * Carry out activities in an organized and effective manner, contributing to the proper use, conservation, and cleaning of equipment and facilities within the area of operation. * Comply with the Company’s established safety and hygiene regulations, follow the established regulations and guidelines of the immediate supervisor. * Understand Valmet’s mission, values, policies, and objectives, taking into account predefined standards, instructions, and procedures as guarantees of quality, occupational safety, environmental protection, and preventive medicine, thereby contributing to appreciation, optimization, digitization processes, sustainable development, and improved service to internal and external customers. * Know and apply Valmet’s quality management system procedures, instructions, and standards, striving to implement them daily to ensure service quality. * Perform other professional activities related to and inherent in the position, as directed and requested by the immediate supervisor. **Required qualifications to perform these activities:** * Technical education in industrial maintenance (mechanical technician) or related field. * At least 4 years of experience in industrial electrical or electromechanical maintenance for continuous processes (paper, pulp, oil & gas). * Experience in fault analysis.
