Acts as the primary liaison between the management team’s planning and the daily execution of work fronts. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Supervise the daily execution of civil works: excavations, backfilling, structures, reinforced concrete, and finishes. * Lead on-site safety management and OHS compliance. * Coordinate work crews and subcontractors, ensuring operational continuity. * Control quality standards, QA/QC records, and closure of non-conformities. * Manage physical progress, productivity, and achievement of project milestones. * Report progress, risks, constraints, and resource requirements to the Site Manager. * Coordinate work-front releases with Quality, ITO, Client, and other disciplines. **Key Functions** ------------------- * Implement short-term planning (Look Ahead). * Supervise concrete pouring, formwork, reinforcement, excavation, and backfilling processes. * Verify compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and construction procedures. * Control quantity surveying, productivity, and progress status. * Manage interferences between civil works and installations (electrical, sanitary, MEP, architecture, etc.). * Lead inspections, handovers, and partial deliveries of works. * Manage corrective actions for construction deviations. **Mandatory Requirements** -------------------------- **Education** ------------- * Construction Engineering. * Civil Construction. * Construction Technician or Civil Works Technician. * Civil Engineering with construction experience. **Technical Knowledge** * Reading and interpretation of drawings and technical specifications. * Control of civil works construction processes. * Reinforced concrete, excavations, backfilling, and structures. * QA/QC management. * Productivity control, quantity surveying, and progress tracking. * Construction safety and occupational health regulations. **Tools** * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel. * Word and PowerPoint. * Intermediate AutoCAD. * Familiarity with Primavera P6 and document management platforms is desirable. **Desirable Certifications** * Working at height. * First aid/CPR. * Lifting and load signaling. * Concrete quality control and construction inspection. ### **Required Experience** * Proven experience supervising civil works in construction projects. * Experience in urban, industrial, railway, or large-scale infrastructure projects is desirable. * Experience leading work crews, subcontractors, and on-site quality control. ### **Key Competencies** * Operational leadership on site. * Effective communication and reporting capability. * Cross-functional coordination and influence. * Planning and organization. * Problem-solving. * Adaptability and pressure management. * Results orientation and adherence to standards. **Seize the challenge.
