This role aims to protect both direct employees and subcontractor personnel, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational continuity, quality, timelines, and project costs. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Coordinate implementation of the **Occupational Safety and Health Management System** across all work fronts and shifts. * Maintain updated **MIPER** (Methodology for Identification and Prevention of Risks) and project risk maps. * Supervise compliance with Law No. 16\.744, Supreme Decree No. 44, Supreme Decree No. 594, internal procedures, and contractual requirements. * Monitor critical activities such as excavations, underground works, lifting operations, work at height, confined space entry, hazardous energy control, and machinery traffic. * Review safe work procedures, risk assessments, and work permits. * Coordinate inspections, audits, preventive observations, and safety walks. * Investigate accidents, incidents, and high-potential events, verifying closure of corrective actions. * Supervise the preventive performance of contractors and subcontractors. * Coordinate trainings, inductions, drills, and emergency response plans. * Develop technical and executive indicators and reports for project management. **Education and Experience** --------------------------- * Professional degree in **Risk Prevention Engineering** or equivalent discipline. * Valid registration as a Professional Expert in Risk Prevention, where applicable. * Minimum recommended experience of five years in construction, infrastructure, mining, energy, concessions, or industrial projects. * Desired experience in metro systems, tunnels, shafts, stations, underground works, or transportation projects. * Experience coordinating preventive teams and contractor companies. **Technical Knowledge** -------------------------- * Chilean occupational safety and health legislation. * Risk management, MIPER matrices, and hierarchy of controls. * Safety in civil and underground construction. * Accident and incident investigation. * Occupational hygiene and surveillance protocols. * Emergency, evacuation, and rescue plans. * Audits, inspections, and document management. * Operational control of critical activities. * Preventive management of contractors and subcontractors. **Computer Skills** --------------------------------- * MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, at intermediate or advanced level. * Intermediate-level Power BI desirable. * Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system. * Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project. * Familiarity with accreditation platforms, contractor control systems, and document management systems. **Desirable Certifications** ----------------------------- * ISO 45001 Internal Auditor. * Working at Height and Fall Protection. * Confined Spaces and Rescue. * First Aid and AED Use. * Hazardous Energy Control. * Lifting and Load Handling Safety. * Accident Investigation. * Emergency Management and Underground Works. **Seize the challenge.
