The Semi-Senior QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring software quality through a hybrid approach. They possess sufficient autonomy to design and execute functional test strategies, automate key application workflows, and validate service layers (APIs). © Get on Board. **Key Responsibilities** Test Strategy: Design test strategies for user stories in each sprint, identifying potential risks before code is written (Shift-Left Testing). Execution and Integration: Conduct functional, exploratory, and regression testing by combining manual approaches with execution of automated test suites. Active Automation: Write clean, maintainable code to automate "happy path" test cases and critical regressions, ideally integrating them into the team’s workflow. Technical Validation: Independently test the backend layer (APIs) before the UI is available, reducing delivery timelines. Management and Mentorship: Report and prioritize bugs in Jira with a high level of technical detail (logs, payloads, exact steps). Ability to support or guide Junior team members when required. ### **Requirements** * **Experience:** 1–4 years of verifiable experience in QA/Software Testing roles. * **Methodologies:** Experience with agile methodologies, actively participating in backlog refinements, sprint planning, and retrospectives—not merely as an attendee, but contributing a quality-focused perspective. * **Functional Testing:** Advanced proficiency in designing test scenarios, coverage matrices, quality reporting, and test data management (Test Data). Automation (Core Requirement): * Practical experience (minimum 1 year) developing and maintaining automated test scripts (E2E or regression) using frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium. ### **Desired Qualifications** * API Testing (Desired): Intermediate/advanced Postman skills (creating automated collections, using environment variables, validating JSON schemas and assertions). * Mobile Testing (Desired / Highly Valued): Proven experience testing applications on Android and iOS, including emulator/simulator usage and distribution tools (Firebase App Distribution, TestFlight).
