Job Summary:
Model Validation Analyst to lead and execute validation processes for regulatory statistical models, ensuring methodological robustness and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

A banking institution requires a Model Validation Analyst.
Replacement for pre- and post-natal leave.
Objective:
Lead and execute validation processes for regulatory statistical models used by the Bank (CMF\-IFRS or others), ensuring their methodological robustness, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness; proposing improvements and mitigations.
Conditions:
1\. Remuneration: To be agreed upon.
2\. Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 to 18:00 hrs; Friday, 9:00 to 16:00 hrs
3\. Work modality: Hybrid.
4\. Workplace: Downtown Santiago, Moneda/Las Condes metro station (Manquehue metro station).
5\. Contract type: Under transitional regime.
6\. Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
* Conduct independent validations of risk models governed by CMF, IFRS, and other regulations.
* Evaluate data quality, assumptions, methodologies, model performance, and governance.
* Prepare technical validation reports describing procedures performed, findings, and recommendations.
* Participate in and present at local/corporate model committees and collaborate with model development and audit departments.
7\. Requirements:
* Mandatory: Mathematical Engineer or Statistical Engineer.
* Approximately 4 years of experience in similar roles.
* Database management and analysis skills.
* Proficiency in Python usage and programming.
* Proficiency in R language.
