Additionally, you will have support from a local tax advisory firm (Big4\), providing assistance on tax matters. The position of **Accounting Coordinator** includes the following **responsibilities**:* Coordinate accounting and tax reporting, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with Group internal policies, international accounting standards (IFRS), and local regulations (SII). * Serve as the primary point of contact across the organization for accounting, reporting, and tax matters for all VFS Chile companies. * Be responsible for the calculation, review, and reporting of monthly and annual taxes, including efficient VAT management and oversight of deferred tax calculations. * Review, approve, and maintain reconciliations up to date in accordance with Group policies. * Be responsible for managing internal audits, including reviewing open items and supporting timely closure of findings. * Provide support on Compliance matters, including handling local regulatory entities and issues for VFS Chile companies, training, and responding to government requests. * Review and maintain documented procedures for all processes within the department. **Candidate qualifications expected:*** Certified Public Accountant degree. MBA or CPA certification (or equivalent) is a plus * Advanced English (written, spoken). Additional languages are a plus * Minimum of 5 years of team management experience. Experience managing external tax advisory firms is a plus * Experience in corporate reporting.
