Position: Electric Shovel Technical Instructor Position Purpose: Apply didactic methodologies and techniques aimed at knowledge transfer and development of specific technical skills for personnel of Komatsu Mining Corp. and Komatsu Chile, under a competency-based training model. Additionally, plan and coordinate the execution of training processes, managing required resources and equipment while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and customer service protocols. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate travel itineraries related to assigned training activities, independently tracking confirmed and planned activities. Plan, organize, and facilitate group learning, evaluating competencies acquired by technicians during the training process. Prepare academic course reports according to assigned standards. Develop and update new courses and content, adhering to the department’s methodology. Participate in internally scheduled meetings. Collaboratively contribute to academic management area projects to drive innovation aligned with company needs. Certify product-specific technical competencies for Komatsu through the training plan defined by management. Residence in Santiago or Antofagasta (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of verifiable work experience with P&H electric shovels, performing maintenance, failure analysis and diagnosis, assembly, and/or related technical tasks (mandatory). 2–3 years of experience in training or personnel development processes (preferred). Proficiency in standard computer and office applications, including laptop usage, email, web browsing, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams). Occupational health fitness compatible with high-altitude work, considering occasional site visits. Basic level of technical English proficiency (preferred). * Minimum 5 years of experience * Minimum Education: Higher Technical Professional
