**Participate in the evolution of Core systems supporting critical business processes.**
At KPaz, we are looking for a COBOL Developer to participate in the maintenance, evolution, and enhancement of Core applications and legacy systems within a high-criticality enterprise environment.
**Work Modality**
* Hybrid, based in Las Condes.
* This position requires current residence in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago de Chile.
**Your Responsibilities**
* Develop and maintain applications built in COBOL.
* Implement enhancements and new functionalities in existing systems.
* Analyze and resolve incidents in Core applications.
* Participate in code reviews and resolution of technical debt.
* Integrate legacy systems with other applications and services.
* Execute tests and support production deployment processes.
* Document developments and changes implemented.

* Proven experience developing in COBOL.
* Experience maintaining and evolving legacy systems.
* Knowledge of databases and information processing.
* Experience working with high-criticality systems.
* Ability to analyze and modify existing applications.

* Experience in the banking or financial industry.
* Familiarity with mainframe environments.
* Experience integrating legacy systems with modern platforms.
* Knowledge of batch and transactional processes.
