To this end, Chuquicamata Division invites you to participate in the Chief Engineer competition, whose mission will be to lead strategies and supervise production management processes under its responsibility, meeting associated requirements from client departments while complying with established guidelines. It defines and implements development, innovation, and continuous improvement projects within the Superintendency to ensure operational continuity, control costs, and achieve defined operational targets and standards set by Management. It plans, directs, and verifies resource management and control programs and actions to meet established targets, ensuring compliance—and enforcing compliance—with policies, regulations, and procedures established by the Division and the Corporation related to safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Because here your talents will serve Chile!** **Job Responsibilities:** * Leads planning strategies in accordance with the production management program, following guidelines established by the Superintendency, to meet Superintendency and Management targets. * Leads, executes, and verifies safety, occupational health, and sustainability programs applicable to the assigned process, in line with guidelines established by the Corporation and the Division. * Leads, supervises, develops, and evaluates the performance of human resources assigned to the process, fostering a positive work environment by applying human resources systems and regulations according to Corporate and Divisional guidelines. * Leads, supervises, and evaluates the performance of service providers required by the Superintendency, treating and respecting people in accordance with Corporate and Divisional guidelines. * Leads, supervises, controls, and verifies financial resource and cost management programs and actions for the assigned process to meet targets established by Management. * Leads, supervises, controls, and verifies implementation of innovation and continuous improvement projects within the assigned process to ensure operational continuity, control costs, and achieve targets and operational standards defined by the Superintendency. **Application Requirements:** * Degree in Civil Mining Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a Mining specialization. * Minimum eight years’ experience in mining, in at least one of the following areas: production planning (open-pit or underground), underground mine development planning, mining operations (open-pit or underground), or execution of underground mine development/construction. * Valid Class B driver’s license. * Health condition compatible with the position. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree (Master’s in a mining-related field, MBA, leadership or management). * Prior experience holding at least an Area Manager position with workers and/or professionals reporting to you. * Intermediate-level English proficiency. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Power BI. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract type: Indefinite-term contract. * Contractual position title: Chief Engineer. * Work location: Chuquicamata Division (no camp available). * Work schedule: 4x3 discontinuous shift. * Number of vacancies: 01. **Application Deadline: Monday, December 22, 2025.** Application closing time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am aware of the conditions, pursuant to Codelco regulations, which may constitute incompatibility for holding the position for which I am applying and, consequently, affect my continuation in the selection process.
