Head of Studies – Ferrostaal Chile S.A.C. **Are you passionate about leading technical\-economic studies and developing engineering proposals for projects in the Energy, Oil \& Gas, Mining, and Industry sectors?** At **Ferrostaal Chile S.A.C.**, we are seeking a **Head of Studies**, responsible for leading the development of technical-economic studies and proposals for strategic project tenders, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring technically sound, cost-effective, and competitive solutions. We seek professionals with experience in engineering and construction firms, ideally having participated in projects for clients in the energy, Oil \& Gas, industrial, or mining sectors—such as **ENAP**, power generation companies, industrial plants, or major companies in these industries. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Lead the development of technical-economic studies for tenders and engineering projects. * Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and client requirements. * Define the technical and economic strategy for proposals. * Prepare and validate budgets, unit price analyses (APU), quantity take-offs, and technical-commercial offers. * Identify and manage technical, commercial, and contractual risks associated with each proposal. * Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and support departments for study development. * Present proposals and tender strategies to Management for approval. * Participate in technical and commercial meetings with clients and stakeholders. * Promote continuous improvement of methodologies, processes, and tools within the department. **✅ Requirements** ---------------- * Professional degree in Industrial Civil Engineering, Mechanical Civil Engineering, Electrical Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. * Minimum **5 years of experience** leading Studies, Proposal Development, or Tendering departments. * Proven experience in preparing technical-economic studies and proposals. * Experience in projects within **Energy, Oil \& Gas, Industry, or Mining**. * Experience developing projects for clients such as **ENAP** or other energy and industrial sector companies will be highly valued. * Knowledge of budgeting, unit price analysis (APU), quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and risk assessment. * Advanced proficiency in **Excel, Presto, and Primavera P6**. * Familiarity with **Microsoft Project, SAP, Power BI, and AutoCAD** is desirable. * Intermediate English (desirable). * **We seek individuals who stand out in terms of** * Leadership and team development. * Strategic thinking and business vision. * Analytical ability and decision-making skills. * Results orientation. * Excellent coordination and communication skills. * Ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments and high-complexity projects. ### **Join our team!** If you have experience leading technical\-economic studies and developing engineering proposals for projects in the **Energy, Oil \& Gas, Industry, or Mining** sectors, we invite you to apply and become part of **Ferrostaal Chile S.A.C.**
