Altura BioInnovations is a research‑driven biotech startup focused on developing sustainable agricultural bioproducts, such as biofertilizers and plant‑protective microbes, for Chile’s farming sector and export markets. About the Role Altura BioInnovations Ltd. is seeking an experienced and highly organized **Supply Chain Manager** to oversee and optimize the company’s supply chain operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient sourcing, procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution of agricultural bioproducts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, experience managing suppliers and logistics partners, and the ability to develop efficient supply chain strategies in a fast\-growing biotechnology environment. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies and processes. * Manage procurement, supplier relationships, purchasing, and inventory levels. * Coordinate logistics, transportation, warehousing, and product distribution. * Monitor supply and demand to ensure timely availability of materials and products. * Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery performance. * Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers and service providers. * Identify potential supply\-chain risks and develop contingency plans. * Track operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. * Collaborate with research, production, quality, finance, and commercial teams. * Maintain accurate supply chain records, forecasts, reports, and performance metrics. * Ensure materials and products comply with applicable quality and regulatory requirements. * Support the company's expansion into Chilean agricultural markets and international export markets. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in **Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering**, or a related field. * **3–5\+ years of experience** in supply chain, procurement, logistics, operations, or a related management role. * Experience with supplier management, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics coordination. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making abilities. * Excellent organizational and project\-management skills. * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and supply chain/ERP management systems. * Ability to analyze forecasts, inventory data, costs, and operational performance. * Knowledge of Chilean logistics, procurement practices, and import/export processes is an advantage. * Experience in **agriculture, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food production, or other regulated industries** is highly desirable. * Professional fluency in **Spanish**; English proficiency is an advantage for international suppliers and export activities.
