Position Overview IProPat is seeking an experienced and highly organized **Mining Project Manager** to lead and coordinate mining\-related projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, budget monitoring, stakeholder communication, and ensuring that projects meet established safety, quality, technical, and environmental requirements. Key Responsibilities * Plan, coordinate, and manage mining and mining\-related infrastructure projects. * Develop project schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and delivery strategies. * Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders. * Monitor project progress, costs, timelines, quality, and resource utilization. * Identify and manage technical, operational, financial, safety, and environmental risks. * Prepare project reports, progress updates, budgets, forecasts, and management documentation. * Ensure project activities comply with applicable Chilean mining, environmental, health, and safety requirements. * Review technical specifications, engineering documentation, contracts, and project deliverables. * Coordinate procurement and contractor activities when required. * Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. * Implement corrective actions when projects experience delays, cost variations, or technical issues. * Support project closeout, performance reviews, and lessons\-learned activities. Required Qualifications * **Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.** * **5\+ years of professional experience in mining project management, engineering projects, or mining operations.** * Demonstrated experience managing projects from initiation and planning through execution and completion. * Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and risk management. * Understanding of mining operations, mine infrastructure, engineering processes, and site development. * Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles. * Familiarity with Chilean mining and environmental regulations. * Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem\-solving abilities. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, contractors, and project stakeholders. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project\-management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with **copper, lithium, or other large\-scale mining projects**. * Experience with EPC, EPCM, construction, or major infrastructure projects. * Project Management Professional (**PMP**) certification or equivalent is an advantage. * Experience with project controls, cost forecasting, earned\-value management, or risk analysis. * Knowledge of engineering, geological, environmental, and mining software. * Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external contractors. * Strong understanding of sustainable mining and environmental management practices.
