Collaboration to ensure operational continuity and minimize downtime JOB MISSION Execute assigned tasks within the production process efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established quality standards, thereby supporting the achievement of production plans, operational continuity, and continuous improvement of industrial processes. JOB REQUIREMENTS Completed secondary education. Secondary technical-professional education in industrial fields or a related discipline. * Knowledge of overhead crane operation. * Knowledge of measuring tools usage. * Basic blueprint reading (minimum requirement). * Minimum 1 year of experience in positions with similar responsibilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate and prepare toolroom machinery to manufacture mechanical and powertrain components and parts. * Interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, symbols, and technical specifications to correctly perform machining operations. * Conduct dimensional inspections using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, dial indicators, etc. * Perform basic machine maintenance: lubrication, minor component adjustments, cleaning, and fluid level checks. * Support preventive die maintenance through cleaning, polishing, wear inspection, and component adjustment. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all forming dies, ensuring proper functionality, accuracy, and operational continuity. * Promptly detect and report failures, anomalies, and irregular conditions in machines, tools, or dies. * Maintain workplace order and cleanliness following 5S principles and internal procedures. * Comply with industrial safety regulations and procedures: use of PPE, LOTO, AST, and safe operating protocols. * Record production data, dimensional checks, cycle times, adjustments, and relevant events on route sheets or digital systems. * Prepare machines for format or part changes, ensuring correct calibration and precision for each setup. * Optimize cutting parameters, feed rates, and speeds to improve productivity and quality. * Ensure proper handling, organization, and care of cutting tools, inserts, and clamping devices. • Facilitate access to tool cabinets for inventories, audits, or controls requested by supervision or warehouse. • Participate in technical and safety training, applying improvements to daily operations. * Propose improvements to machining, assembly, and die maintenance processes. * Collaborate with production, toolroom, and maintenance departments to ensure operational continuity and minimize machine downtime. * Perform cutting, assembly, loading, unloading, welding, inventory management, dispatch, and storage of raw materials and finished products. * Bend and shape materials—especially metallic ones—according to technical specifications and blueprints. * Group and package products; re-packaging/disassembly. * Recover raw materials and finished products. * Clean raw materials and finished products. Provide services across various company departments. * Package shipments according to manufacturing orders. * Accurately record manufactured products using established formats. * Conduct selective physical counts and annual inventories. * Collaboratively and respectfully follow instructions, priorities, and directives from immediate supervisors. * Perform oxy-fuel cutting and grinding operations.
