We are a company specializing in the maintenance of hydraulic equipment and water supply, stormwater, wastewater, and bilge pumping systems, and we are currently seeking a Field Technician to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
\- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic systems and pumping equipment.
\- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on pumps, motors, and associated systems.
\- Program and install Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and PLCs.
\- Install, commission, and maintain single-phase and three-phase equipment.
\- Work with control instruments such as transducers, level sensors, and automation systems.
\- Interpret electrical diagrams, power and control panels.
\- Prepare technical reports for each service, visit, or assistance provided.
\- Generate material requisitions for additional tasks identified on-site.
\- Provide basic operational and safety inductions to the client’s facility personnel.
\- Verify the condition and functionality of tools, equipment, and materials before each service.
\- Maintain order and cleanliness in all areas worked on.
\- Strictly comply with safety regulations and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
\- Maintain professional and courteous service toward clients and users.
Requirements:
\- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions.
\- Valid Class B driver's license (mandatory requirement).
\- Knowledge and experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and PLCs.
\- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pumping systems.
\- Experience handling power and control electrical panels.
\- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
\- Technical Secondary Education or equivalent qualification.
\- Minimum age: 25 years.
\- Availability to perform work outside regular hours when operations require it.
