**The Opportunity**
This position is located in Puerto Aysen within our Acqua Management division, focused on delivering analytical, laboratory, fish pathology, and environmental monitoring services for the aquaculture and food industries.
As a Technical Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:
* Apply the guidelines established in the Quality Management System across all assigned technical activities.
* Coordinate operations when requested for official sampling.
* Perform operational activities related to sampling programs such as: PSEVA, PSEVC ISA, PSEVC SRS, PSVEC BKD Magallanes, PVP, and any other program relevant to the Technical Assistance Unit.
* Record data enabling traceability of testing activities for which you are responsible.
* Renew sanitary certification status and/or driver's license upon expiration.
* Handle, maintain, and preserve equipment in optimal working condition.
* Use, maintain, and preserve supplies and materials in optimal condition to ensure reliable test results.
* Apply good laboratory practices to obtain reliable results.
* Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor and/or Head of Technical Assistance.
* Report any deviation that could affect sampling to the Supervisor and/or Head of Technical Assistance.
**Required Qualifications**
* Licensed Veterinarian
* Two years of experience
* Sanitary Certification Officer
* Class B driver's license
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Knowledge of current SERNAPESCA regulations and salmonid diseases is desirable
