**Position Title:** Warehouse Operator (Bodeguero)
**Department:** Logistics / Supply Chain
**Reports To:** Warehouse Supervisor / Logistics Manager
**Position Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and safety\-conscious **Warehouse Operator** to manage daily warehouse operations. The primary responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods while maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate is a team player who can operate material handling equipment and ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and efficient.
**Key Responsibilities1\. Receiving \& Inspection**
* Unload incoming shipments from trucks and containers.
* Verify the quantity and quality of goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
* Inspect products for damage or defects and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
* Label and tag items according to company standards.
**2\. Storage \& Organization**
* Place products in designated storage areas using appropriate material handling equipment.
* Maximize storage space by organizing products efficiently (FIFO/LIFO as required).
* Ensure that all items are stored safely to prevent damage or accidents.
**3\. Order Picking \& Packing**
* Accurately pick orders based on picking lists, sales orders, or barcode scans.
* Pack goods securely for shipment using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, pallets).
* Prepare shipping documents, including invoices and waybills.
**4\. Inventory Control**
* Maintain accurate physical inventory records.
* Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
* Update inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) in real\-time.
**5\. Equipment Operation**
* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
* Perform daily pre\-operational safety checks on equipment.
* Report maintenance needs or equipment malfunctions promptly.
**6\. Safety \& Housekeeping**
* Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE (gloves, safety shoes, vests).
* Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
* Comply with all regulatory requirements (OSHA, local safety laws).
**Qualifications \& Requirements**
* **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* **Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center role.
* **Certification:** Valid forklift/operator certification (preferred; training available for the right candidate).
* **Technical Skills:** Basic computer skills; experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus.
* **Languages:** Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred, but not required.

* **Physical Stamina:** Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg) for extended periods.

Pay: $18,714 \- $1,422,604 per month
