Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a Track Survey Engineer to join a dedicated team, applying expertise in surveying and civil works supervision on railway projects. Key Highlights: 1. Contribute to innovative, world-class railway projects. 2. Work with cross-functional teams and service-oriented colleagues. 3. Develop new skills and experience in the railway sector. At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what connects people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling, and digital mobility, we offer the industry’s broadest portfolio to our diverse customers. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way toward greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities while reducing carbon emissions and replacing cars. Could you be the full-time onsite Track Survey Engineer we’re looking for in Santiago, RM, CL? **Your Future Role** Take on a new challenge and apply your surveying and civil works supervision expertise in an emerging field. You will work alongside a diverse and highly committed team of colleagues. Together, you will share the impact your role has on developing world-class railway projects. Day-to-day, you will closely collaborate with engineering, construction, and quality teams—ensuring adherence to surveying methods, managing work permits and site access, coordinating with clients, authorities, and other contractors, and much more. We will rely on you to: * Specifically conduct surveys and survey controls during civil works handover—including buildings, structures, railway platforms, and foundations—as well as perform pre-construction layout of infrastructure, signalling, and telecom, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. * Carry out final equipment adjustments prior to concrete pouring, coordinating with construction teams. * Execute as-built surveys and prepare documentation for handover. * Comply with—and ensure compliance with—surveying methods and procedures, QA/QC systems, contractual requirements, and local regulations. **Your Profile** We value passion and attitude over experience. Therefore, we do not expect you to possess every single qualification listed. Instead, we have identified some that we believe will help you succeed and grow in this role: * Higher technical diploma, engineering degree, or related civil engineering qualification with surveying training. * Knowledge of surveying work, with at least 3 years’ experience in similar positions. * Class B Driver’s License. * Competencies in preparing technical reports, activity planning, and tracking. **What You’ll Enjoy** Join us in a rewarding new experience—the railway sector is here to stay, offering you opportunities to develop and acquire new skills and experience throughout your career. You’ll also be able to: * Contribute to innovative projects. * Work with cross-functional teams and service-oriented colleagues. You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you board one of our trains with friends or family, you’ll feel proud. If you’re ready for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you! **Important** As a global company, we are an equal opportunity employer and celebrate diversity across the 63 countries where we operate. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone. **Job Segment:** Quality Assurance, Telecom, Telecommunications, Technology
