This role aims to: Supervise railway operations related to the transfer process of acid and copper cathodes, including cargo receipt, dispatch, and loading, focusing on procedure implementation, safety, cargo condition monitoring, and control of railway shunting operations to ensure adherence to scheduled programs and commitments made to customers. Main responsibilities include: * Supervising and coordinating terminal activities, verifying on-site cargo and the number of railcars to be received and dispatched, overseeing train shunting operations and communicating instructions to onboard personnel according to current procedures, ensuring customer compliance with loading/unloading timeframes and train arrival or dwell times at terminals or stations to guarantee execution of committed operations. * Controlling scheduled service operations, ensuring adherence to timetables, reliability, and operational excellence, while acting in accordance with both Company and customer policies and regulations to ensure program compliance and verification of planned deliveries. * Checking operational conditions under equipment operation procedures, safety requirements, and environmental and equipment weather conditions, to provide accurate shunting instructions to operators, anticipate and prepare for operations, and report deviations for authorization. * Reporting changes in station, terminal, infrastructure, work site, or general service operations that may interfere with normal operations, informing and coordinating with FCAB staff and/or third parties regarding necessary operational adjustments due to new conditions, to adapt work practices to actual operational realities and ensure services comply with each contract, timetable, and procedure. * Ensuring FCAB personnel arriving by train comply with internal FCAB regulations, operational instructions, and FCAB and customer safety standards, to ensure proper oversight and enable preventive responses. * Supervising and controlling compliance with schedules, activities, and use of occupational health and safety tools (primarily ARTP, ART, or HVCC), both for FCAB and its customers, to ensure adherence to established standards in this area. **Desired Profile** ------------------ * Completed university education or completed higher technical education. * Administration. * Logistics. * Related field of study. * Minimum two years’ experience in similar positions or areas is desirable. * Class B driver’s license. * MANDATORY: Must reside in Antofagasta. * Minimum two years’ experience. * Minimum education level: Higher technical professional. * Graduate. * Spanish (native level)
