Strategically lead and coordinate the Risk Partners team across various business units under a federated model, ensuring proper identification and assessment of non-financial risks through the RCSA process. The primary purpose is to guarantee end-to-end (E2E) process mapping and coordinate control design, acting as the fundamental bridge between business Process Owners and second-line-of-defense specialists to foster a culture of risk self-management.
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to:**
Lead and supervise the deployment of the Risk Partners team across different business domains to ensure regulatory quality and coverage of the RCSA process.
Ensure accurate E2E process flow documentation in collaboration with Process Owners.
Coordinate and convene operational forums with Fusion Center specialists for the design and implementation of controls related to AML/CTF, cybersecurity, fraud, and compliance.
Facilitate and manage the ongoing RCSA operational cycle through workshops to validate risk catalogs, assess control effectiveness, and define metrics.
Maintain methodological consistency of the federated risk model and propose adjustments based on findings from business deployments.
Coordinate timely activation of remediation plans triggered by early warnings and critical deviations reported by the Analytics Operations team.
Validate the technical quality of RCSA matrices and escalate critically residual risks requiring decisions by central governance bodies.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with business leaders to position the team as a strategic enabler in operational management, breaking down organizational silos.
**To succeed in this position, you need:**
A university degree in Commercial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 7–8 years of proven experience in Operational Risk, Process Management, Process Auditing, Management Control, or Consulting within the financial industry.
At least 3 years of experience leading professional teams with direct implementation of RCSA methodologies.
Expert-level proficiency in operational and non-financial risk management, ORX taxonomies, and E2E process mapping/optimization within banking domains.
Advanced functional knowledge in risk disciplines such as Fraud, Cybersecurity, AML/CTF, and Compliance.
Demonstrable experience with federated operating models (Hub & Spoke), agile cell structures, or joint forums (Fusion Centers).
Expert facilitation skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and ability to resolve differences of opinion without hierarchical authority.
Strong analytical capability to interpret dashboards, alerts, defect metrics, and KRI/KCI/KPI indicators.
Postgraduate studies in Risk Management, Finance, or an MBA, along with certifications in operational risk management (e.g., IOR, PRMIA) or continuous improvement are highly desirable.
