That is why we work—and that is what we do! **Purpose of the Position:** Execute the activities defined for the operation of the copper concentrate smelting furnace, ensuring achievement of production targets through efficient resource utilization, while prioritizing safety, environmental stewardship, quality, and compliance with operational KPIs. **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate and monitor nozzle punching machines, reporting any deviations. * Inspect the injection system and silos to ensure proper functionality. * Perform white metal and slag measurements according to work procedures. * Collect samples and measure molten bath temperature in accordance with established protocols. * Control the Reactor’s wet feed charging system, verifying conveyors, hoppers, and material levels. * Carry out slag and white metal tapping operations per area procedures. **Requirements:** * Education: Secondary education; experience in smelting operations preferred. * Experience: 2–3 years in similar roles and in smelting processes. **Knowledge:** * Safety in industrial environments. * Operation of smelting equipment. * Basic Microsoft Office skills. * Certifications: Mini-excavator operation (desirable). **Position Conditions:** * Location: Antofagasta, on-site. * Shift: Rotating 4x4 schedule.
