Job Summary: We are seeking a Product Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize products from a mechanical perspective in the field of renewable energy. Key Highlights: 1. At LL Consulting, we are looking for the next Product Design Engineer for one of our key clients specializing in renewable energy and energy efficiency, located in Santiago. Your primary objective will be to design, develop, and optimize products from a mechanical perspective, transforming functional requirements into robust, manufacturable, and scalable solutions for the company’s electrochemical technologies. Additionally, you will be responsible for the mechanical design development of equipment and prototypes, supporting the transition from concepts and laboratory testing to products ready for manufacturing, installation, and operation. **Key Responsibilities Include:** * Designing mechanical components and equipment using 3D CAD software. * Preparing and maintaining up-to-date manufacturing drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials (BOM). * Developing and improving prototypes based on test and validation results. * Selecting mechanical materials and components for equipment development. * Designing products considering manufacturability, assembly, and maintenance criteria. * Coordinating prototype fabrication and assembly with suppliers and workshops. * Implementing design improvements to optimize product performance and reliability. * **⁠** Collaborating on R\+D and project management activities. **Ideal Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Execution Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design. * Knowledge of fluid mechanics. **Conditions** * Employment type: Project-based fee. * Work location: Santiago. * In-person work mode.
