About the Role Cordillera Safety Solutions SpA is seeking an experienced and results\-oriented **Procurement Manager** to lead and optimize the company's procurement activities. The successful candidate will oversee sourcing, supplier relationships, purchasing strategies, contract negotiations, and procurement operations while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and reliable supply of safety equipment and related products. The Procurement Manager will work closely with operations, finance, logistics, sales, and management teams to ensure that products and materials are available when needed and meet the company's quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. * Manage the complete purchasing cycle, from supplier sourcing through delivery. * Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers. * Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, and delivery conditions. * Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers. * Monitor supplier performance, product quality, costs, and delivery schedules. * Lead procurement planning and ensure appropriate inventory levels. * Review purchasing requirements and approve purchase orders in accordance with company procedures. * Identify cost\-saving opportunities without compromising product quality or safety. * Coordinate with finance, logistics, warehouse, operations, and sales teams. * Monitor procurement budgets and expenditures. * Establish and maintain supplier performance metrics and procurement reports. * Identify supply risks and develop contingency plans. * Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable Chilean regulations and internal policies. * Support sourcing of fire\-safety equipment, workplace safety products, emergency supplies, and related materials. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in **Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering**, or a related discipline. * **5\+ years of progressive experience** in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management. * Previous experience in a procurement management or senior procurement position is preferred. * Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier contracts, prices, and commercial terms. * Strong knowledge of supplier evaluation and vendor\-management practices. * Experience with procurement systems, ERP platforms, and inventory\-management tools. * Strong financial and analytical skills, including budgeting and cost analysis. * Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision\-making skills. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other business software. * Ability to manage multiple suppliers, projects, deadlines, and purchasing priorities. * Knowledge of Chilean procurement, logistics, and import procedures is an advantage. * Experience in **industrial safety, fire protection, manufacturing, construction, facilities management, or related industries** is highly desirable. * Fluency in **Spanish** is required; English proficiency is an advantage for international supplier relationships.
