As the Principal Process Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and leading process engineering for concentrator plant projects, actively contributing across all phases of the project lifecycle. About the role: Lead the development of process engineering solutions—from conceptual stages through detailed design—ensuring technical quality and alignment with project objectives. Contribute to technical and economic evaluations, supporting decision-making by assessing performance, risks, and optimization opportunities. Lead and guide the process team, fostering technical development and excellence in execution. About you: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in the mining industry, ideally in copper. Proven experience in hydrometallurgical projects, including plant design and participation in engineering phases (conceptual, basic, and/or detailed). In-depth knowledge of copper leaching processes covering the entire chain—from dry zone to cathode production (crushing, agglomeration, leaching, SX\-EW). Experience in operation and design of hydrometallurgical plants.
