Strict application of safety standards **Be one of the first** Full-time Operator Antofagasta Region Calama **We’re looking for you at GASCO Enterprises!** Within our Subgerencia de Soluciones Energéticas (Energy Solutions Submanagement), we seek Mining Maintenance Operators based in Calama, whose mission will be to operate the Solution Heating Plant (LPG unloading, vaporizers, steam/hot water boilers, reverse osmosis plant, IC, control system, among others). Execute daily operational parameter and maintenance controls, maneuvers, and recordkeeping in accordance with established procedures. Key responsibilities include: * Ensuring monitoring and adjustment of systems via control panels to maintain flow rates and pressures. * Conducting rounds to inspect mechanical equipment and systems, identifying and reporting failures or maintenance needs. * Ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, hazard identification, participation in emergency drills, and handling emergency situations. * Recording production data, process variables, and reporting anomalies to optimize plant performance. * Performing valve opening/closing, sampling, and transfer, loading, and unloading of LPG. **If you have experience in similar roles within the mining industry and are interested in joining our company, we look forward to your application!** **Desired Profile** ------------------ **Some Requirements:** * Academic background: Technician in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Processes, or Chemistry. * Knowledge of industrial machinery operation, refrigeration systems, compression systems, and instrumentation & control. * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Plant Operator in the mining sector. * Residency in Calama. * Availability to work initially on a 5x2 shift schedule, followed by a 7x7 schedule. Experience: 5+ years Minimum Education: High School Graduated
