Job Summary: Brinks Chile is seeking a Mining Security Supervisor to oversee operational security activities, applying corporate guidelines and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise operational security activities in accordance with current regulations. 2. Apply and verify private security protocols and standards. 3. Supervise the operation of electronic security systems. BRINKS CHILE seeks to hire an experienced Mining Security Supervisor to provide services at a mining company located in Copiapó. Main Responsibilities: Supervise operational security activities at La Coipa, the refinery, and associated facilities, applying corporate guidelines and established procedures to ensure compliance with Law No. 21,659 and guarantee safe, regulation-compliant operations. Apply protocols, instructions, and standards issued by the Undersecretariat of Crime Prevention, verifying their implementation in operational activities to achieve compliance with Law No. 21,659 and ensure all private security services are conducted per instructions from the Ministry of Public Security and Carabineros de Chile. Record all relevant shift events in the official logbook and operational logs, documenting incidents, evidence, and operational observations to ensure traceability, documentary support, and compliance with the mandatory legal reporting standard for security-related situations. Supervise the operation of electronic security systems, reviewing video surveillance, alarm systems, access control, and other regulated technologies to ensure effective monitoring and compliance with requirements set forth in Law No. 21,659 regarding private security. Verify that personnel hold valid accreditations, certifications, and recertifications, applying requirements defined by the competent authority to ensure compliance with Law No. 21,659 and guarantee formal suitability of the private security team. · Requirements Education in Armed Forces, Carabineros, PDI, Gendarmería, or an 8-semester professional degree Class B driver’s license (mandatory) Knowledge of Law No. 21,659 and related private security regulations At least 3 years of experience in operations or private security. At least 3 years of experience leading teams.
